Adaptil Spray

Adaptil Spray utilizes a synthetic copy of the dog appeasing pheromone to help with behavioral problems related to anxiety in dogs.

Adaptil Spray Basics

Adaptil Spray is available over the counter. No prescription is required to purchase this product. Adaptil Spray uses a synthetic copy of the dog appeasing pheromone (D.A.P.). The dog appeasing pheromone is released by mother dogs 3 – 5 days after giving birth to puppies. This pheromone has been shown to soothe and comfort dogs during stressful situations. Adaptil Spray can be sprayed on bedding, crates, and kennels to help with pet anxiety. This spray can help with traveling, veterinary office visits, or boarding. Spray bottles come in two sizes: 20 mL and 60 mL. A 20 mL bottle of Adaptil delivers about 125 sprays.
