Aluminum Hydroxide Compound Warnings

Keep out of the reach of children and pets. This product may inhibit gastric emptying. Use with caution in pets suffering from gastric outlet obstruction or those pets prone to constipation. Aluminum Hydroxide may interact with some other medications. Therefore, be sure to inform your veterinarian of any and all medications your pet may be taking. This is especially important if your pet is currently taking aspirin, cimetidine, ciprofloxacin, digoxin, fluoroquinolones, glucocorticoids, penicillamine, ranitidine, or tetracycline. Chronic use of this medication may lead to electrolyte abnormalities or aluminum toxicity. If you notice any behavioral or physiological changes in your pet while giving aluminum hydroxide, contact your veterinarian immediately.
