Amoxicillin Compound Directions
Use as directed by your veterinarian, and follow all instructions printed on the prescription label. Shake oral suspensions well before use. Complete the entire prescription unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian. Allow your pet access to plenty of water during treatment. Amoxicillin can be given with or without food.

Amoxicillin Compound Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Do not use in pets with a known hypersensitivity to any penicillin derivative or cephalosporin. Use with caution in pets suffering from kidney disease, stomach disease, or intestinal disease. Amoxicillin may interact with some other medications. Therefore, inform your veterinarian of any and all medications your pet may be taking. This is especially important if your pet is currently taking allopurinol, other antibiotics, probenecid, chloramphenicol or tetracycline. Finally, if you notice any behavioral or physiological changes in your pet while administering amoxicillin, contact your veterinarian immediately.
Adverse Reactions and Serious Side Effects
Although rare, serious adverse reactions can occur. Contact your veterinarian if you suspect that your pet is having an allergic reaction to this medication. In the case of an overdose, seek attention from your veterinarian. Symptoms of an overdose may include muscle spasms, weakness, confusion, seizures, or agitation.
