Antirobe Basics

Antirobe is a narrow-spectrum antibiotic that fights bacterial infections in dogs. This antibiotic is effective against strains of bacteria found in skin infections, wound infections, bone infections, pneumonia, periodontitis, and gum disease. Antirobe raises the white blood cell count, helping to prevent the spread of bacteria. It also acts on bacteria by inhibiting the production of proteins, thus stopping the growth of susceptible strains of bacteria.

Antirobe requires a prescription from your veterinarian. It is available in three different sizes of capsule: 25 mg, 75 mg, 150 mg.
