Diagel can be given to preemptively keep your pet from having intestinal upset. It is recommended that you give Diagel if your pet is changing food, if your pet is changing environments, including boarding at the vet, or if your pet is under any type of stress. Diagel can also be used if your pet is already experiencing digestive upset. Diagel syringes come in pre-measured doses. Diagel comes in several sizes of both a cat and a dog formula.
Keep Diagel out of the reach of children and pets. Diagel is for animal use only. If you suspect your pet has taken more than the proper dose of Diagel, contact your veterinarian immediately. Do not use Diagel if your pet is pregnant. If your pet gets worse or does not improve while using Diagel, contact your veterinarian. Store at room temperature. Store protected from light and moisture.
Give as directed by your veterinarian. Follow the instructions printed on the product packaging. Diagel comes in pre-measured syringes. To use Diagel, remove the cap from the syringe, then place the syringe between your pet’s teeth. Aim for the back of your pet’s tongue. Press the plunger to release the gel. Give Diagel 2 hours before a stressful event to prevent stomach upset. If your pet’s condition worsens or does not improve while taking Diagel, contact your veterinarian. Overdoses of Diagel can be harmful. If your pet has taken too much Diagel, contact your veterinarian immediately.

Give the pre-measured syringe to prevent or treat stomach upset. Always use the correctly sized syringe for your pet. You may give a second syringe if necessary.
