Iverhart Max Soft Chew Basics

Iverhart Max requires a prescription from your veterinarian. This medication is used to treat heartworms, microfilaria (microscopic offspring of heartworms), hookworms, roundworms, and tapeworms. Iverhart Max contains three active ingredients: ivermectin, pyrantel pamoate, and praziquantel. Ivermectin kills heartworms and prevents heartworm disease, pyrantel pamoate treats hookworms and roundworms, and praziquantel controls tapeworm infestations. Together, these ingredients control a wide spectrum of parasites by causing neurological damage to the parasite, resulting in paralysis and death. This product comes in a pork-liver flavored, chewable tablet. It is available in various sizes according to your dog’s weight.
