Meloxicam Compound Basics

Meloxicam Compound Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Do not use in animals that have a known hypersensitivity to meloxicam. Use with caution in pets with a history of bleeding, inflammation, or perforation of the stomach. Meloxicam may interact with some drugs. Inform your veterinarian of any and all medications your pet may be taking, especially aspirin, corticosteroids, enalapril, benazepril, or quinapril. Meloxicam is for use in dogs only. Repeated use of meloxicam in cats has been associated with acute renal failure and death. Use with caution in animals suffering from heart failure, kidney disease, or liver disease. Meloxicam may impair blood clotting. Liver enzymes of pets taking meloxicam should be monitored closely. Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture.
