Praziquantel Compound Basics

Praziquantel Compound is a parasite-control drug with strong activity against a number of different tapeworms. It impairs the function of the tapeworm’s sucker and stimulates movement of the worm. This dislodges the parasite’s attachment to the intestinal tract and allows it to be eliminated in the feces. Praziquantel Compound requires a prescription from your veterinarian. It is available as a capsule and as an oral suspension.

Our pharmacists specially formulate all PetMart Pharmacy compounds to meet the needs of your pet. Please contact us if you need another form, strength, or flavor of this compound. All compounds ship within 1 day of preparation according to their specific temperature requirements.
